God loves people to pray - its how we talk to him. Anyone can pray, you just talk to God like you would talk to a friend.

You can pray anywhere and at any time. You can pray out loud or say the words in your head. You can close your eyes or keep them open. It doesn't matter!

There are lots of different things you can pray to God about. Here are some ideas:

How you feel - Tell God how you're feeling or how your day has gone.

Say thankyou - Thank God for the good things that have happened, or for the lovely world we live in.

Say sorry - Tell God you are sorry for the things you've done wrong, or things you've thought or said that are wrong.

Ask for things - You could ask for yourself or other people. You could pray for sick people, for poor people, or people with problems.

God always hears our prayers. Sometimes it may seem that he isn't answering them, but he always does. He may say yes, but he may say no or make us wait.
