Death

When someone you know dies it can be very upsetting. The closer you are to the person who has died, the more it hurts.

Different people cope with death in different ways. Some find it difficult to accept that the person has died. Some feel angry about it, and take their anger out on people around them. But most just feel upset they are not going to see the person any more.

Christians believe in life after death. Dying does not mean a person stops existing, but their spirit (the life inside the body) goes somewhere else. If the person was a follower of Jesus then they are in heaven with Jesus forever.

God can comfort us when we are upset about someone dying. He is always with us and knows exactly how we feel. Talk to him about it, and ask him to help you feel better.
